Varying pressure on the pen should produce varying results on the screen. No matter what settings I use, no matter what other troubleshooting steps I take, there is no pressure sensitivity. (Yes, I am aware that Krita is a raster program while Inkscape is vector, but if Inkscape is supposed to allow pressure sensitivity, it should work either way.) I have the "use pressure sensitive tablet" box checked in the "input devices menu." I am using a MacBook Air with an M1 chip running OS Big Sur 11.4. In brush settings you can adjust whatever you want, in your case whichever brush you pick just untick opacity and tick size and inside tick pressure. Pressure sensitivity on my Wacom Intuos S tablet (CTL4100) does not work.
